Emily Brennan joined the Library's Department of Research & Education Services in 2012. As the Evidence Synthesis Informationist, she collaborates with faculty, clinicians, and students on the development of systematic reviews, meta-analyses, scoping reviews, and other synthesis projects. She is the liaison to the Department of Pediatrics residents as well as hospital nurses. As a member of MUSC Hospital's Value Institute, Emily performs literature reviews for the development of clinical pathways and hospital guidelines, and teaches a project-based evidence-based practice course for clinicians. She contributes to professional knowledge by presenting at professional conferences and publishing in academic journals.
