Verification of Listed References
The reference staff will verify bibliographies of manuscripts for MUSC faculty, students and staff. Reference librarians will verify the references by going to the original document to check accuracy. If the source document is not available in the MUSC Library, electronic sources will be used.
When submitting a bibliography for verification, please include either the title of the journal to which you plan to submit the manuscript or the bibliographic style required by the publisher.
This is a fee based service. Time needed to provide the service, and fees charged, are based on the length of the bibliography.
| 1-50 references | 5 working days | $10.00 plus | $.15 per citation |
| 51-100 references | 10 working days | $15.00 plus | $.15 per citation |
| 101-150 references | 13 working days | $20.00 plus | $.15 per citation |
| 151-200 references | 16 working days | $25.00 plus | $.15 per citation |
